So a couple of weeks ago, just before painting my Art final piece rovaneth.deviantart.com/art/Im…, I went to a life drawing class, just to be able to add something extra to my coursework sketchbook. It was awkward at first, especially as we came in before everyone else and I was scared we would be the only people there, but later on the room filled up and it became more relaxed, and I really enjoyed it. I'm definitely going back as it was a fun experience.. Maybe except for the fact that the model looked quite miserable and for most of the time I was wondering if she is doing this because she wants to or because she has to... Well, hopefully the first one. She also had dreadlocks which were fun and quick to draw, especially in charcoal. The whole session lasted 2 hours including a break, and it was quite tiring, but I gained a lot of experience and enjoyed myself.
I made quite a few sketches, but most o them are rough charcoal drawings which took me from 5 to 20 mins, so I didn't want to submit them as deviations. So here they are, together.


All the sketches were made on A3 paper.

Hi everyone
On Wednesday I got all of my GCSE artwork back. This includes everything from yr. 10 and 11, so up to 2 years back. Observational drawings, exercises with different materials, artist copies, compositions and final pieces. There is loads of it, and most of it (especially the older pieces) isn't so good, but I'd like to upload some of it here.
I also have some of my AS level work I've done so far to show you, but I didn't want to upload it before the GCSE stuff. So, in the nearest future, you can expect old stuff, some of it even from before the 'Skulls and bones' observational studies. I'll try to upload it in the chronological order, to keep at least slightest bit of sense, and so the newest stuff will be at the end, and I won't seem like a complete failure. I won't upload it all at once, simply because I'm too lazy and too busy. So you can expect like one piece a day or something.

I'm also thinking of cutting down on the amount of photos I upload, or maybe creating a separate account for them. Because, let's face it, they're not so good, and this account just looks a complete mess with all this different types of art going on here. What do you think?

And there wont be any new digital pics either, sorry about that. School is taking up so much time I barely have any left to rest and meet with my friends, so it's very hard for me to do any additional art projects at home. Also, I've been in hospital couple of weeks ago so I have enormous amount of work to catch up on. So I'd rather focus on the school work because if I don't get those As I'm gonna be very disappointed.

Yeah, I want to enter. Who wouldn't, with a chance (doesn't matter how small this chance actually is) to win £10,000? The problem is: school is just begun. Doesn't seem a problem to you? Well, after 3 weeks of waking up around 10am, and then 2 weeks of waking up after 1pm, and all that time doing basically nothing, I feel dead after 2 days of school. Simple thing: no motivation for anything, no ideas, just want to sleep. And so… I want to enter both times (well, it gives me bigger chance of winning, even if it's still about 0.0001%) but i doubt if I'll be able to finish anything in time for the first entry,  so I thought that if I don't make it in time, I can enter something which I did in the past. And then finish the new picture in time for the second entry. I only have no idea which one of the old ones should I use, which one is best, and most 'imaginative'. Any suggestions..? What's your favourite picture done by me?
